Professor Beezer has been on the move for a bit. He did a decent job for the Rangers, followed by a great job for the Panthers which resulted in him being part of the 1998 US Olympic Team. The Panthers, however, got rid of him to the Flyers.

With the Flyers, Vanbiesbrouck was excellent. They traded him with the Islanders for a fourth-round draft pick. Go figure. Even though he was better than DiPietro, he didn't post particularly good numbers (the Islanders' fault rather than his) and was traded to New Jersey for Terreri. It was a good idea. He ended the regular season .932 and 1.50 GAA, winning all four of his games. He didn't play in the playoffs, but his short performance showed just what he can do behind a good defence. Florida were mad to get rid of him. He retired at the end of that season, but is now back and managed to only concede one goal on thirty-odd shots against the Flyers. Beezer, you're great.
