Perreault had some small injury problems in 1999-2000...he broke his
arm and missed 23 games, and then sustained a season-ending knee injury during the playoffs.
However, he came back for 76-24-28 in 2000-2001, along with 11-2-3 in the playoffs.
As ever, he led in faceoffs, with a 62.7% record in the regular season and 62.2% in the playoffs.
Yanic is the first NHL player to have a four-goal game in the Air Canada Center against Ottawa on April 7th 1999. He was also the first player to score a playoff overtime goal, against the Flyers on April 30th 1999. |
