At the University of Maine, Dunham only lost one game in the 1992-1993 season.
Mike was second in save percentage and shutouts amongst rookie goalies
in 1996-1997. Whilst in the AHL he was part of the Second All-Star team and
managed a 17-game unbeaten run in the 1995-1996 season. He has also played
three games for the US Olympic Team.
After a spell at New Jersey, Dunham became the first-choice goaltender for Nashville, one of the NHL's expansion teams. He managed the second-highest save percentage of 2000-2001 (.923) and was first out of all the goalies who played at least half of their team's games. A very low-key star. |
