It seems funny to think that Deadmarsh is only 26, because he seems
to have been around forever. He is a superb, physical forward who has been
Colorado's top scorer (1996-1997). He was traded to LA last season for Rob Blake and posted 57-17-15 between
the two clubs. Although Colorado got Blake, they may miss Deadmarsh in the end, whereas
LA arguably got a bit of a bargain, depending on how long Blake has to go.
He has been part of the US World Junior team three times, and was the Avs' youngest player when they won the Cup in 1996. |
